Launched in June 2019, the 3D Prosthetics project was established in response to a need for accessible upper limb prosthetics in Thailand and Burma. With most affordable prosthetics, when available, made for lower limbs or being nonfunctional, HFA-BCMF strives to fill this gap by providing free custom fitted 3D printed upper limb prosthetics and assistive devices. In addition to this, HFA-BCMF provides other 3D printed products including orthoses and assistive devices.
