Volunteers and interns at BCMF support staff with running programs and projects in Thailand. Tasks range from writing project reports to conducting patient interviews, creating content for social media and supporting capacity building activities for staff. BCMF is also able to host interns from university as well as from partner organisations in Myanmar and in Thailand.
BCMF is especially encouraging applicants with skills that can be applied or build capacity for specific projects, such as 3D Prosthetics or specific outreach programs.
Interested candidates can send their CV and a letter of interest to [email protected]
The Burma Children Medical Fund (BCMF) was established in 2006 in response to the increasing number of children on the Thai-Burma border who required complex medical treatment and surgery that is not available at local clinics or hospitals. Prior to BCMF being established, children who required surgery had their symptoms treated and lived either severely incapacitated lives or died prematurely as a result.
