About us
Our vision is for all people to have access to quality healthcare regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender, or political or religious affiliation.
That is why we made it our mission to improve lives of vulnerable communities in Burma and Thailand by facilitating access to healthcare and human rights.

Burma Children Medical Fund (BCMF) was established in 2006 in response to the increasing number of children on the Thai-Burma border who required complex medical treatment and surgery that is not available at local clinics or hospitals. Prior to BCMF being established, children who required surgery had their symptoms treated and lived either severely incapacitated lives or died prematurely as a result. Since 2006, BCMF has expanded from a focus on children and youth to serving patients regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender, or political or religious affiliation.
In 2024, our sister organisation, Health for All Foundation (HFA), was officially registered in Thailand.

Together HFA and BCMF assist individuals with a wide range of health conditions and diseases requiring surgery, supporting the costs of surgical treatment, diagnostic tests, and other social support services. We also strengthen capacity and improve access to medical care in remote areas, internally displaced persons camps, refugee camps, and other vulnerable communities in Burma and Thailand through several health-related outreach projects and humanitarian support.
