The BCMF’s mandate is to fund medical tests or procedures for children from Burma (20 years or younger) that Mae Tao Clinic and Mae Sot Hospital cannot provide for free and the family cannot afford. When all child patients have funding, BCMF will fund adults who are identified by the Program Manager and Medical Advisor as patients who require surgery for a severely debilitating condition that can be treated with a surgical procedure
