How donations are managed
Donations are processed by APHEDA- Australian People for Health, Education and Development Abroad (a registered charity of the ACTU- Australian Council of Trade Unions). APHEDA has identified Burmese refugees as an area of concern and have agreed to process all donations for the BCMF purely as an administrative body to support Burmese refugees. APHEDA does not have any involvement in managing BCMF. Funds are transferred from APHEDA to the Mae Tao Clinic account and the money is held separately from the general account. All donors will be sent a receipt for tax purposes by APHEDA. We thank APHEDA for their involvement. Click here to donate.
